Opiate by Tool bass tab
If the tab you have selected is a downloadable one (mostly these are Tool Guitar Pro tabs), you need to insert so called "captcha" code and click "download" button. In case the code is correct you will be redirected to download page where your Opiate gp4 file will be prepared. If you have entered wrong "captcha" code, you will be asked to insert it once again to get your Opiate bass tab.
If you browse all Tool tabs or open the list of tabs and chords for Opiate, you can see there are not only Guitar Pro tabs. Guitar tabs and chords, piano & power tabs, drum tabs, bass tabs - they all can be not only in Guitar Pro file format, but also in txt. In this case no special program is needed to read the tab. All you need to do it to open such Opiate tab and you will see it displayed. If you wish, you can download our free tabs in txt.

Opiate by Tool bass tab (text):Ok, here are the TOOL bass lines I promised way back when. I figgured I'd do something to "redeem" myself for my sins. Bassists, for your jamming pleasure I have transcribed (sometimes only parts of) "Prison Sex", "Bottom", "Opiate", and "Sober". I broke the songs down into riffs but you'll have to listen tho the albums to get the exact tempo an rhythm. Also, the E-string is dropped to D (this is common in, I think, ALL TOOL songs.) Tips on playing these songs: 1) Play with a pick. Paul does. Although, sometimes I do it w/ my fingers. 2) Boost your Treble and Mid a few notches to get a sharper sound. But, you still want to keep the low end rumbling. 3) Don't be afraid to experiment. Paul varies his bass lines a lot, give it a try as well. It's just easier to tab it when it's straight forward.
