Love Her Madly by The Doors bass tab (text):Love Her Madly Bass Tab by Doors, This is a great bass song (whether you are a Doors fan or not). The bass parts on the first Doors album were played on keyboard by Ray Manzarek, but a different studio bassist was on every album thereafter. This song comes from the album "L.A. Woman" which featured one of the greatest studio bassists of the time, Jerry Scheff. Jerry's bass lines on this album clearly make the songs what they are. In fact, the Doors were so impressed with him that they approached him to join the band - as a permanent member. Unfortunately, Morrison died prior to this taking place. You can check out Jerry Scheff at www.scheff.com/jerry. Tabbed by: BASSteve Tuning: EADG Time signature: 4/4 r = rest (listen for duration) h = hammer on p = pull off / = slide (low to high) \ = slide (high to low) ^ = bend (listen for pitch and release charateristics) ()= note inside parenthesis not plucked {}= note inside pointed parenthesis still ringing from previous measure * My tabs are meant to be read in conjunction with listening to the song. In other there are no specific notations to account for note / rest duration. However, you will find I’ve made an attempt to strategically space the notes and rests within their respective in order to represent the appropriate durations.
