Paperback Writer by The Beatles bass tab (text):Paperback Writer The Beatles Written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney; released on single "Paperback Writer / Rain" A good rocker again, I like the "a capella" (only vocals) intro and refrains. Also that guitar riff, and Paul's bassline is excellent again. I don't know why Paul put the child song "Frere Jacques" in the backing vocals for the third and fourth verses, but I think it's funny :-) Intro: G|------- ------- ------- -------|------- ------- ------- -------| D|-------------------------------|-------------------------------| A|-------------------------------|-------------------------------| E|-------------------------------|-------------------------------| Pa - perback wri - ter Pa - perback G|------- ------- ------- -------|------- ------- ------- -------| D|-------------------------------|-------------------------------| A|-------------------------------|-------------------------------| E|-------------------------------|-------------------------------| wri ter Pa - perback wri - ter G|------- ------- ------- -------|------- ------- ------- -------| D|-------------------------------|-------------------------------| A|-------------------------------|-------------------------------| E|-------------------------------|-------------------------------| G|------- ------- ------- -------|------- ------- ------- -------| D|-------------------------------|----------------1717171717--\--| A|-------------------------------|-------------------------------| E|-------------------------------|-------------------------------| Dear Verse: G|------- ------- ------- -------|------- ------- ------- -------| D|5-------5---------------3---5--|--------5----------------------| A|--------------------5----------|--------------------2---3---5--| E|-------------------------------|----------------3--------------| Sir or Madam, will you read my book, it me took G|------- ------- ------- -------|------- ------- ------- -------| D|----------------------------5--|--------5-------------------3--| A|------------------------5------|--------------------3---5------| E|3-------3-----------3----------|----------------5--------------| years to write, will you take a look?
