Second Guessing by Rem guitar tab (text):# From: bc80233@bingsuns.cc.binghamton.edu I noticed that "Second Guessing" from Reckoning is still missing from the REM archive. Here it is as I play it, and it sounds okay to me. Most chords are played with the high E and the B string open. For example, the E chord is played: E A D G B E 0 7 9 9 0 0 Likewise the F#m is played: E A D G B E x 4 4 2 0 0 And the B would be played: E A D G B E 7 9 9 8 0 0 The A chord is best played like this during the intro and the verses: E A D G B E x 0 2 2 0 0 And like this during the "oh-oh" part between verses. E A D G B E 5 7 7 6 0 0 (I'm sure there's an easier way to convey this--like knowing the names of the chords--but I hope everyone can follow this) Second Guessing Intro: E A E A E A E A Why're you tryin' to second guess me E A B I am tired of second guessing E A E A What will be your look this season E A B Who will be your book this season A G Oh oh oh Oh oh oh F#m Oh oh oh-oh-oh E A E A Why're you tryin' to second guess me E A B I am tired of second guessing E A E A What will be your look this season E A B Who will be your book this season A G Oh oh oh Oh oh oh F#m D Oh oh oh-oh-oh G D Here we are G D Here we are G F#m Here we are E A E A E A E A Why're you tryin' to second guess me E A B I am tired of second guessing E A E A What will be your look this season E A B Beating my club like a book this season (This is the best I could come up with for this line. If you can do better go ahead.) A G Oh oh oh Oh oh oh A G Oh oh oh Oh oh oh A G Oh oh oh Oh oh oh F#m D Oh oh oh-oh-oh G D Here we are G D Here we are G F#m D Here we are G D Here we are G D Here we are G F#m Here we are E A E A E A E(let it ring!!) It's close enough for me to sing with it, and it sounds right to me. Any corrections are welcome. Ben McTernan bc80233@bingsuns.cc.binghamton.edu |
