Astoria Paranoia Tab by The Living End

ASTORIA PARANOIA - By The Living End off the album, Roll On.

Tuning: Drop D but should the wind blow the right way, you can play it in Standard.

Symbols:

.. are for palm muted secions
PM stands for Palm Mute
p is for pull-off
h is for hammer-on
~ is for vibrato
b is for bend
s is for slide

Intro Riff: I think in the recording, Chris used two guitars playing different things
the main riff, so I'll tab them both out and you can just pick what tickles your fancy more.

Verse 1: I haven't tabbed out the rhythm because it's too time consuming to decipher and
get the feeling there's some passing chords in between the chords tabbed here, but
the main gist.

Verse 2 and so forth: Tabbing out the palm mute is hard for this section so you just
to judge it on instinct sorry. I just tabbed the main gist of it.

[**] Not entirely sure about this section.

Here is the second guitar fills in the verses:

Chorus: Downstrokes will do. The second guitar plays the section marked [$$] 4 times
the chorus, with every second time, a little variation is played which is basic to figure
- I hope.

Interlude/Whatever technical name: I can't tab out the rhythm here and I'm not 100% sure
the chords either. I'll tab out the chords to play. If you're playing in standard
the bass note for the G#maj can come in to play.

D--6------6-----6-----6----2----|

This part, the rhythm I can't work out and a feeling is played with a delay effect. Just
as necessary.

Geetar sewlo: Before you play, go through the "Intro Riff" twice. I'm sure that this is
but the only thing I'm not sure is the actual position you play it, as this is most
for me. Also, not sure where the vibratos are actually mean to go but I'm sure your
instinct will help you with this. The solo is tabbed in phrases.
