Dropped D-tuning

I noticed the TAB for Milquetoast and I commend Bard Iversen for his work on the TAB.
What I am writing is not meant to spite the TAB on the page. I just noticed a few things
that may help those Helmet saavy people like myself who take playing Helmet to a
technical level. (I am currently 18 years of age and have played guitar in a Helmet
cover band for over 4 YEARS!!!)

I hope this helps:

INTRO: The intro is fine

NEXT:

E---------------------------------------
B---------------------------------------
G--------------------------------------- This gets repeated 8 times
D---/5-5----3\2-----/5--5-5----3\2------
A---/5-5--0-3\2-0---/5--5-5--0-3\2-0----
D---/5-5--0-3\2-0---/5--5-5--0-3\2-0----

VERSE 1a:
BASS ONLY
D--0--0-0--0-2---0--0-0--0-2---0--0-0--0-2---0--0-3-2-0-2---

       Tell me... If you think..

D--0--0-0--0-2---0--0-0--0-2---0--0-0--0-2---0--0-3-2-0-2---
       It`s allright.....

D--0--0-0--0-2---0--0-0--0-2---0--0-0--0-2---0--0-3-2-0-2---
I`ll give in...... To what you know..

D--0--0-0--0-2---0--0-0--0-2---0--0-0--0-2---5-5-0-3\2-0----

							/this bar is in 2/4 time\
E--|-------------------------------|-------------------|
B-4|-------------------------------|-------------------|
G--|-------------------------------|-------------------|
D-4|---3---5-------3------0---8-10-|--0---3---5---0----|
A--|---3---5---0---3------0---8-10-|--0---3---5---0----|
D--|---3---5---0---3------0---8-10-|--0---3---5---0----|
the whole interlude gets repeated four times and the following chords are played over
the four bars of 4/4 and one bar of 2/4...(total of five bars)

E----0-0-0-0---------0--0--0--0----
B----6-6-6-6---------15-15-15-15---
G----5-5-5-5---------14-14-14-14---
D----5-5-5-5---------12-12-12-12---
A----5-5-5-5---------12-12-12-12---
D----5-5-5-5---------12-12-12-12---
 \first two bars/ \next three bars/

BREAK (SOLO):
there are two guitar parts and they are listed over each other (played at same time)
these are just the chords listed once...
GUITAR ONE:
E---0----0----1----8----4----0----1----6----
B---0----3----3----10---6----3----3----8----
G---0----2----3----10---6----2----3----8----
D---3----0----1----8----4----0----1----6----
A---3----0----1----8----4----0----1----6----
D---3----0----1----8----4----0----1----6----
GUITAR TWO:
E---0----0----8----8----4----0----8----13---
B---10---10---11---11---7----10---11---15---
G---9----9----10---10---6----9----10---15---
D---7----7----8----8----4----7----8----13---
A-------------------------------------------
D-------------------------------------------

THE ENDING:
there are yet again two parts to the ending...
GUITAR ONE:
E--------------------------------------------------------------------
B--------------------------------------------------------------------
G--------------------------------------------------------------------
D---0---0-0-0-4-----0----0-0-0-4-----0----0-0-0-4-----0----0-0-0-4---
A---0---0-0-0-4-----0----0-0-0-4-----0----0-0-0-4-----0----0-0-0-4--- repeat and fade...
D---0---0-0-0-4-----0----0-0-0-4-----0----0-0-0-4-----0----0-0-0-4---
GUITAR TWO:
E-----------------------------------------------------------------------
B-----------------------------------------------------------------------
G-----------------------------------------------------------------------
D------12-12-12-12-\0---12-12-12-12--0--12-12-12-12-\0---12-12-12-12--0-
A------12-12-12-12-\0---12-12-12-12--0--12-12-12-12-\0---12-12-12-12--0-
D------12-12-12-12-\0---12-12-12-12--0--12-12-12-12-\0---12-12-12-12--0-

for the ending, with practice you can hear how the two guitar parts are not in sync,
this accounts for the swirling dissonance that you hear at the end.

I hope this helped. Please email me with any comments you may have and let me know if
this ever gets posted (even if only a part of it). Thanks.
