Life On Standby Acoustic by Hawthorne Heights guitar tab (text):

Band: Hawthorne Heights
Song: Life on Standby (acoustic, 1 guitar)
Tabbed by: Ian Ditsch

Tuning: EADGBe
\ = downstroke
/ = upstroke
. = palm mute or just mute strings after strum to get the pause sound
~~ = let note ring
~ = let note ring slightly

This song is so awesome and I wrote an acoustic for it so I thought I'd put it up. I
pulled out the power chords into open chords, or power open chords, and it sounds so
good. important factors are the timing which is slow and in being HH is very slow, and
the upstrokes and downstrokes which is why I put them in, you can't get the sound without
doing upstrokes and downstrokes right.

(Intro)

This part, the verse, I just tabbed it how I hear it played, it sound great, and you
this five times but after the first time the base comes and it is hard to hear so that's
I put the base line down too if you choose to play that instead. And I put this part into
rings because of the slowness of the acoustic format and that's just how it fits and it
beautiful.
