Unholy Confessions by Avenged Sevenfold bass tab (text):Song: Unholy Confessions Artist: Avenged Sevenfold Album: Waking the Fallen This sounds completely correct to me. The bass line prettymuch follows the guitar part. Tune to drop-D tuning(low to high: D A D G). I'm pretty sure this is played with a pick. You should be able to figure out how to articulate all of the notes from listening to the song. I call a lot of the parts bridges cuz I don't know what else to call them. Intro(bass enters at 0:07): |--------------------------------| |--------------------------------| |-----------------(drums build up| |8-8--------7-7---into main riff)| Main Riff(the 7h8p7 is a sixteenth-note trill, not eighth notes like the rest): |----------------------------------------------------------------------| |----------------------------------------------------------------------| |--------7-0-8-0-10-0-8-0-7h8p7----------10-0-8-0-7-------7-0-8-0------|(3x) |0-0-0-0------------------------10---8-8--------------7-7---------10---| |--------------------------------------------------------------------| |--------------------------------------------------------------------| |--------7-0-8-0-10-0-8-0-7h8p7--------------------------------------|(1x) |0-0-0-0------------------------10---8-8---------7-7-----------------| Verse: |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |5---5-5-----------15-15\13-13\12-12/13--------------------10-10/12-12\8-8\7-| |--------x-x-0--------------------------8---8-8-x-x-10-----------------------| ( I'll try she said as she walked away, Try not to lose you. ...) Now, just go back to the chorus again. Let the last note of the chorus ring for a little bit, then for the outro, just repeat the first bridge riff 8x through, and end on the first two notes of the riff. That's it, so enjoy. |
