Fish by Yes bass tab (text):Fish Bass Tab by Yes, The Fish By Yes Submitted by Kelsey Terhorst * = harmonic This song is basically just a whole bunch of tracks on the bass bunched over each other. Here's the first one: G|------------12*----------7*-| D|--------12*-----------7*----| A|-----12*------------7*------| E|-12*-------------7*---------| The second one is pretty quiet and with a wah wah, it's while the first one is going. G|-----12-12----------12-12---| D|-----12-12----------12-12---| A|----------------------------| E|----------------------------| Then just start playing an open E right when the first 12* starts like this: G|----------------------------| D|----------------------------| A|----------------------------| E|-000------------------------| The next one is pretty hard to play, and it's in two parts. One: G|-16---------------14-12-14--12-11-12--11-9-11--9-7-9--7-6--4--6--7--4--| D|-----------------------------------------------------------------------| A|-----------------------------------------------------------------------| E|-----------------------------------------------------------------------| And two: G|-12---------------11-9--11--9--7--9---7--6-7---6-4-6--4-2--0--2--4--0--| D|-----------------------------------------------------------------------| A|-----------------------------------------------------------------------| E|-----------------------------------------------------------------------| And after that part come various fills like: G|-16-16/14-14/12-12/11-11\9-9\7-7\6-6\4-4--| D|------------------------------------------| A|------------------------------------------| E|------------------------------------------| And a while later he puts in another thing with a wah wah, and I'm not sure how many he does each one, but they're really fast: G|-------00------00-| D|-222222--222222---| A|------------------| E|------------------| G|-444400444400-| D|--------------| A|--------------| E|--------------| G|-774444774444-| D|--------------| A|--------------| E|--------------| G|-12-12-12-12-99-12-12-12-12-99-| D|-------------------------------| A|-------------------------------| E|-------------------------------| G|-16-16-16-16-12-12-16-16-16-16-12-12-| D|-------------------------------------| A|-------------------------------------| E|-------------------------------------| G|-19-19-19-19-16-16-19-19-19-19-16-16-| D|-------------------------------------| A|-------------------------------------| E|-------------------------------------| And then he just improvises with the wah wah and I get confused and can't figure out he's doing. But I can tell you the scale that he's improvising in. G|-----------------0-2-4-6-7-9-11-12-14-16-19-| D|-----------0-2-4----------------------------| A|-------0-3----------------------------------| E|-0-2-3--------------------------------------| Enjoy.
