	YESTERDAY
	by John Lennon/Paul McCartney

	tablature by Jonathan Byrd

I have listed the basic chord progression above the tablature.
Sometimes the melody is part of the chord, and sometimes an extension
of the chord.  I did not indicate which notes should be sustained.  To
show the timing, I placed a "v" over each beat.  I typically play the
intro, two verses, the bridge, another verse, and the coda.

                        Yesterday  -  The Beatles
                    ----------------------------------

                              from the album 'Help'

                              tabbed by Howard Wright
                              H.Wright@astro.cf.ac.uk

You need to tune all strings down one tone for this - so when
you play a G shape it actually comes out in the key of F.
It's important to do this - you can't just play the thing in F
using normal tuning - you need some bass notes which you can
only get by tuning down a tone and playing as if in G.

(I'll write all the chord names as if in standard tuning)
