Burn by Sevendust guitar tab (text):-------- Sevendust Burn Alpha (2007) -------- by Daniel Shuster (weattack@yahoo.com) I would like to start by saying this is my favorite song off of my favorite album by Sevendust. Its deff a looney song (the way its played), but the result was some weird/beautiful chords. I also have to thank Darren Davis for his video on YouTube. The way we play the song different in some aspect, and i tabbed it out my way, but if it wasnt for him, i couldnt have out the proper tuning, and such. Tuning: Bb F Bb Eb Ab Db A variant drop Bb tuning, with the last 2 strings matched with the 5th notes instead of 4th than 5th note. Db|-0----0---0---------------0--3----3------0-------------0----------| Ab|---1----0----3---3------5-------0-----0----0-----0---1------------| Eb|---------------3---3---------------------------3------------------| Bb|------------------------------------------------------------------| F |------------------------------------------------------------------| Bb|------------------------------------------------------------------| Db|---0---0-----0--------0--0--3------3-------0------------------------| Ab|-0---0----3----0---------0-----5---------0---0-----0----------------| Eb|-----------------3-------6-------6---------------3------------------| Bb|--------------------------------------------------------------------| F |--------------------------------------------------------------------| Bb|--------------------------------------------------------------------| Verses Db|--------------------|--------------------------| Ab|--------------------|--------------------------| Eb|--------------------|--------------------------| Bb|-----------------4--|--------------------0-4-3-| F |-1h44444444444444--(x3)-1h44444444444444-0-4-3-| Bb|--------------------|--------------------0-4-3-| m m m Continously bend the 4's on the F string, and start to release the bend (but dont) right before you hit the 4 on the Bb string. Palm mute the chords Chorus Now these are some weird chords so bare with me Db|-0----0----0----0-------------------------------------------------| Ab|-0----0----4----4-------------------------------------------------| Eb|-9----9----5----0-------------------------------------------------| Bb|-7----7----5----5-------------------------------------------------| F |-5----7----3----5-------------------------------------------------| Bb|-0----7----3----5-------------------------------------------------| No strumming pattern is shown Lead part in the chorus Db|-------------------------------------------------------------| Ab|-------------------------------------------------------------| Eb|-1010--\9-/10-/-12-/14-\10\9----1010-910------/12-/14-\9-\7--| Bb|--x-x---x---x----x---x--x--x-----x-x-x-x--------x---x--x--x--| F |--8-8--\7-/-8--/10-/12-\8-\7-----8-8-7-8------/10-/12-\7-\5--| Bb|-------------------------------------------------------------| After the choruses theres a palm muted open strum..
