Fury by Prince chord (text):Fury Chords by Prince ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SONG NAME - Fury ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tabbed by:Chanell (AxelGirl89) Email:bustaryme2000@yahoo.com This song is from Prince's new album: 3121, and was the first song performed on the February 4th SNL where Prince was the musical guest. This is my first tab so kinda go easy on me...lol First you are gonna need the chords: Dmin7,Dmaj7,Cmaj7, Tuning:Standard Dmin7 Dmaj7 Cmaj7 Dmin7 e|----10--------10------8------10---------------------------------------------------| B|----11--------10------8------11---------------------------------------------------| G|----10--------10------8------10---------------------------------------------------| D|----12--------10------8------12---------------------------------------------------| A|----10--------12------10-----10---------------------------------------------------| E|----10--------10------8------10---------------------------------------------------| You basically go through the chords and add in the strums as you hear the song, and then you've got it. Oh yea and your gonna need some six inch heels and then your playin like the purple one. I'll post the second part later. ;) |

what you are calling Dmin7 is a guitar Gm7 played in the barre chord folk Am7 position on the 10th fret.. what you are calling Dma7 is a guitar Dm7 played in the barre chord folk Em7pos on the 10 fret. same for what you call a Cmaj7 - it is a Cm7 and you end up on the same chord you started with - in guitar notation a Cmaj7 would have a 'B" note in the chord.. you have a Bb, therefore it is just C7 - but WAIT - you are not a C7 because there is no "E" note - but there is an Eb [ the minor], so you are playing a barre chord Cm7th... chords are great - -naming convention is all wrong -- sounds like you have a piano bkground... |

to continue: so the real chords - for barre-chord-playing guitarists - are Gm7/Dm7/Cm7/Gm7 thanks..even tho the chords are named wrong, they were a great help! |

Dm7/Am7/Gm7/Dm7 --- descend F/E/Eb/Dm7 then climb F-G-Am |
