Okay basically I've been listening to this song quite a bit recently.
It's broken down into three main parts - chorus/verse, variation on
those, and the bridge. The verse goes A E D E (i think) with a variation
looking something like this:

You can play the E as -0-

if you want, the E/G# is a pain to reach.

 

The chorus is very similar, the chords are A E D E F# E D E.

 

That's two out of 3 things, the chords so far are pretty standard but i
think he uses a couple of weird variations on some of the chords, you
should be able to pick it up if you listen to the song a couple of times.
The bridge is even simpler, just holds on an F# powerchord (you can do
F#m if it makes you feel better) and does a little bit of a mini bas-type
solo, but you could hold it on F# for the whole thing, although a couple
of times it goes F#5 B5 C#5 (i think, havent got my guitar on me) and its
obvious when to play it if you know the song, but thats pretty much it,
feel free to make alterations if this sucks!
